U maakt een intern afsprakenoverleg in Odoo Calendar en plotseling ontvangt uw klant een uitnodiging. Niet de bedoeling. Gelukkig kunt u per afspraak bepalen of externen een mail krijgen.
Per afspraak: notificaties uit
Open de afspraak, klik op More Options of het tandwiel-icoon. Onder Reminders kunt u de mail-notificatie uitzetten voor deze specifieke afspraak. Deelnemers worden wel gekoppeld maar krijgen geen mail.
Globaal: e-mails naar externen standaard uit
Voor structurele oplossing: Instellingen → Algemeen → Discuss. Pas het Default Email Sender aan. Voor nog fijnmaziger control gebruik je Instellingen → Technisch → Mail Templates om de agenda-uitnodigingstemplate aan te passen of te deactiveren.
Automation Rule as an alternative
Voor een slimmere oplossing: maak een Automation Rule die op basis van categorie (bv. tag "intern") de mail-notificatie uitschakelt. Open Instellingen → Technisch → Automation en trigger op calendar.event create.

Per appointment: notifications off
Open the appointment, click More Options or the gear icon. Under Reminders you can turn off the email notification for this specific appointment. Attendees are still linked but do not receive an email.
Globally: emails to external contacts off by default
For a structural solution: Settings → General → Discuss. Adjust the Default Email Sender. For even finer control, use Settings → Technical → Mail Templates to adjust or deactivate the calendar invitation template.
Automation Rule as an alternative
For a smarter solution: create an Automation Rule that disables the email notification based on category (e.g. the tag "internal"). Open Settings → Technical → Automation and trigger on calendar.event create.
